Ms. Perez-Brizo has represented hundreds of individuals in immigration court (EOIR) and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. In addition, she has successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Perez-Brizo received her Bachelor’s degree from Pomona College and earned her J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA). Ms. Perez-Brizo has been advocating for the rights of the immigrant community for over a decade. For the past 10 years, she has been an attorney with Gomez & Associates and now heads the firm’s office in La Puente, CA. She practices exclusively in the areas of Immigration and Nationality Law, with an emphasis in deportation (removal) defense.
Before joining Gomez & Associates, she was a Staff Attorney at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the nation’s leading Latino legal civil rights organization, and an Equal Justice Works fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Southern California.
